Your new vehicle may need a bit of work done at the local auto shop even in the first months of your ownership. In other words, there is no way to completely avoid the possibility of needing a car repair, regardless of whether your car is newer or older. Doing some research on the reliability of each make and model can help you make a decision that will limit the amount that you would have to spend at your local auto shop.
